It would be if it would have been underclocked for this purpose, but it's been underclocked for ages. To run quietly.

3d06 does not really benefit from CUDA. My 8600GT SLI score did not change at all when I installed CUDA/PhysX drivers back in the day. In fact it only got lower since the old drivers allowed a tad more OC.
