I just downloaded the sound tracks for a couple of movies, and I wanna add them to a playlist in iTunes. I already added them to my iTunes library, but it already has a 3900 songs and its kinda difficult to go find them one at a time to add them to the playlist. Is there anyway I can open the folder right into the playlist?
This is much easier if you have everything tagged correctly, such as genre and album (and if multiple artist, mark it as a compilation). If you can't browse through to find it, just do a search for the name of the soundtrack or whatever and highlight all the results and drag/drop to the new playlist.
i only got 660 songs
Can you not select and drag files from the 'Recently Added' Smart Playlist?
I swear that's how I used to create real quick mix-playlists on the fly when travelling about with my laptop...
And 3,900 songs is a mere fart of a Library to browse through. Try a 3,000-album, 2,000+ artists/compilations/mixes, ~40,000 song badboy

I'm only nearing 15k songs and people tell me I'm crazy. Too bad they don't know anyone with over a TB of music...
On the other hand, how many of those songs have you actually listened to uzique???
I got curious one day and made a smart playlist of songs that had a 0 play count. More than half my library showed up Sure there are 1000 or 2 that I, in fact, had listened to (just not using iTunes), but I was still surprised. So over the past month I've been listening to those songs in hopes of clearing that playlist sometime soon.

I have like 75 songs and not a clue where to get more >.<
Piece by piece takes too long to get a decent collection, and downloading whole albums yields 2 good songs and 13 chunks of crap.

Search for the album?
Actually, look on the sort tab on the top, and right click on the bar, and select "Date Added" to be added to the info's now click it and it should sort by the date added, now just find the date when it was added
thats how i look for my new songs
