looks good but I don't know if his mobo supports dual channel.
Will it work without dual channel support?

Dont see why not, would just run in single channel as opposed to dual

There is nothing specific or special about RAM that makes it dual channel. So the answer is yes, it will work as long as the board is a DDR1 based mobo.
