Typing in vehicles

I like to use enter-return to get in and out of vehicles. The problem is that if I try to send a message in a vehicle and press enter, I will quite effecticely jettison myself from the car/boat/plane. I have not found any way to send messages besides enter (and that complicated console command, if you want to type that every time you want to type a message).

Solution: I never talk in vehicles. Is there a way to remap the text return key? Oh and I don't think KP_enter does it.

I had that same problem.. i wanted to enter vehicles with a push on my right mouse button combined with the caps-lock and the letter g "of Getting in the vehicle" but its hard to do though.

i use the E button to but sometimes when thats the last letter of my woord and then press enter then im falling out of my chopper or tank its very irritating last time i was in tank on karkand and i typed "same here"and then i hopped out my tank but i did not wanted to but it happend then before i got in it again i got shot bah there goes 42kill 0deaths (trying to improve my best kill streak) sorry for the bad english i just dont know how to write some things :P

that just happened to me for the first time today, i fell out of a vodnik a couple times typing stuff ending with "here" or "there" or whatever

its irritating but it seems to happen when u typ something fast and press enter very fast when ur slow typing it dont happen as much as when ur fast typing it
