Ooh, just saw they are $10 each. 12 is probably too many. lol I didn't think they'd be that much.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. I had a bad experience with solder - one of my friends decided it would be highly amusing to take the solder iron and press it against my arm. Not fun!
