Don't see the problem.

GPUs nowadays have the ability to do that sort of stuff when they're not being used for anything else important.

Yea, I am pretty sure it won't screw up the in-game GPU stuff. I think that'll take priority over the "window management" stuff. Besides, throw in a sick GPU in there and you really shouldn't have to worry.

I'm intrigued. I'm really hoping MS can pull it off this time and actually make a good, lightweight OS, that doesn't take them the best part of a year to get functional.

Seems like a band-aid to me, rather than actually making the memory more efficient - like XP. I can open 300 windows on XP and it doesn't care.
