no it's the same price
There is a reason, like I said before, I actually do notice the difference between 720p and 1080p. I saw it for myself, 720p is so much more blurry. Maybe it's because my HDTV is also alot like a PC Monitor. And 1080p is closer to the native resolution than 720p, and on monitors, it's always about being at the native res and if it's lower than quality is noticeably crapper than on proper HDTV's which are better at scaling resolutions and making it still look nice
Usually it's just on larger screens with higher resolutions that you notice. It can vary by manufacturer though. It depends on how your tv processes the signal. How does interlaced look? On my smaller tv (i) actually looks better. Especially in action sequences. Standards signals look absolutely horrid though.

Prices are dropping already MekEgg, most titles in the UK cost about £17 on release which is £8 down from only a couple of months ago ... downloading uncompressed HD is a total waste of time ...

While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

On my TV, yeah, SD signals look totally shit. The difference between i and p, I don't notice it much. Although on my PS3 I have disabled the option for it to go into 1080i mode (I've only let it display signals in 520p, 720p and 1080p - So games won't be allowed to display in 1080i as I don't like the interlacing shit, I think I notice screen tear and stuff like that when interlacing)Kmarion wrote:

I guess, cos it's alot like a monitor, it doesn't really process the signal at all. That's why you notice large differences between all the resolutions.
Wall-E looks like it would be nice on bluray.
