I have a Sony Bravia KDL-32M3000 HDTV It is hooked up using VGA and when I watch HD Video from my pc on to it or well anything for that matter I get several whit lines running vertically across my screen. is there any way to fix this problem so that it is at least watchable?

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
Make sure the refresh rate for the TV is set correctly.

It does it no matter what I use even if its just sitting at the desktop.
Refresh rate is set to 60hz like any LCD should be any highr it gets blurry

You're using VGA and not HDMI?
So does any one have any ideas?
Have you tried another method like component or something?
no I cant afford to go but cables it only does it through the VGA hook up
