does everyone use the ingame server tool, or is there a third party program out there that is better? the ingame tool seems really crappy to me, i can never get a good server because the ping jumps around so much.
There is also Xfire and Gamespy but i think both of them are useless... but thats just me.
I look for the lowest ping, then from them I choose a server playing a map I like, then I look for a half full one so I can get meh points.

And from there I load the IP of the server I'm interested in to the Favorites list on Xfire, and voila.
