lol can be frustrating when a commander isn't doing what hes suppose to & no one bothers to vote cause they can't be bothered while playing.
I've seen it work exactly twice, and said the exact same thing when it actually did. What was EA smoking when they programmed the kick vote mechanics? The way it is now you need a majority of players from both teams to vote to kick. But if that guy happens to be, say, a spawncamper in a tank, of course no one from his team will vote to kick him, he's helping them win. Ah well...
It's a rather fine line. Too few votes and anyone can get someone else kicked for no reason whatsoever. Too many and noone will ever get kicked from a server. I agree that it is a bit on the 'too many' side, however, I would rather have it this way than the opposite.[QXJZ]Capt_Kefra wrote:

Me too, considering how many kick votes ive had started against me for killing someone too often. Some people think the vote kick tool is designed for team balancing purposes.tF-voodoochild wrote:

Point taken; that having been said, how many successful kick votes have you folks seen? I'm not even sure if the votes account for people who have "Opt out of voting" checked in their game options. If it takes 8 out of 12 players to vote Yes and 5 have opted out of voting, does that lessen the number of required votes by 2 or 3 or does it automatically doom the vote to failure? Many's the time I've looked at the vote results, to see a handful of "green check marks" (yeses), one or two "red Xs" (nos) and a vast majority of blank checkboxes...anyway sorry to rant about this but I may opt out of voting soon if they're going to be meaningless 99% of the time.

damn I thought they never worked 0_o
Useless feature that works once in a million times....if anything it's the most annoying feature of the game.
What they need to do is add a Team kickvote thing. TKer on your team? Team kickvote. I'm a nice person who votes Yes if the other team is trying to remove a TKer, but I'm sure there are many people who won't.
