Only 5 of my 500 albums have artwork... How can i edit the mp3 directly to make it show art work. I want it to be able to show the art work no matter what program i am using, floola or itunes... How can i achieve this?
Right Click > Copy Image
Select all of the songs you want to change the art for with the Shift key.
Right Click > Get Info
Paste the image in to the Artwork box.
Or you can go to Advanced > Get Album Artwork
Select all of the songs you want to change the art for with the Shift key.
Right Click > Get Info
Paste the image in to the Artwork box.
Or you can go to Advanced > Get Album Artwork
I'm assuming this is for itunes? Will this make it so that the art work will ALWAYS show up no matter what program i am using? This would take forever with over 500 albums, is there a faster way? One time i tried *Get Album Artwork* and it asked me for a credit card number. What the feck?phishman420 wrote:

You have to put in a credit card number, but they won't charge you or anything. Or you can do it manually like I explained, and yes, this is for Itunes.
And I'm pretty sure that the artwork stays associated with the file forever once you change it in Itunes.

I can do it and it doesn't ask for credit card number. Fuck that shit. Why would they ask for it when it's free?
Don't give your credit card number out like that.

It's not like Apple is going to give out your cc number. You have to have a credit card number to have an iTunes account. It always asks you before you buy anything.TheAussieReaper wrote:

But you aren't buying album artwork, it gives it to you for free. Why then would it ask for your cc details?phishman420 wrote:

Besides, no matter where you send your information it can be watched if there's any spyware \ key loggers or other malicious virus on your pc.

You don't need an Itunes account to get album artwork through itunes. omg.phishman420 wrote:

Since when?
iTunes is still pretty poor at finding rather 'underground' or esoteric album-art, they don't have a massive catalogue of artists to be honest...
There are a few freeware programs around on the Internet that actually utilize Google Images and Amazon product search engines to find album-art, which obviously has a much wider scope- I mean the Amazon search engine will basically return you a decent result for any album that is being sold on the Internet, which is quite a nice variety .
Good luck, this whole Album Art thing is a total pain in the arse if you ask me.

Lots of my albums don't even let me edit them which really annoys me. But yeah whenever I upload an album I just manually add the artwork.
I have an iPod and I manually put album artworks and it was a pain in the butt!It is pointless and stupid and annoying that you need CC number and iTunes store account just so you can have some album artworks.
FUCK YOU APPLE ISN'T IT ENOUGH FOR YOU THAT I BOUGHT YOUR SEXY IPOD???!!!!
