Yuhh, my school sucks

I have to explain the "World view" in the cover of the album Music for the Jilted Generation, by The Prodigy.

https://www.lesedwards.com/main/music_jilted_generation2.jpg

I got this so far:

"The people want to tell the government to fuck off, and let them party. The world is obviously better on the partying-side, the right side, compared to the left side."

That's all I could make up. Any things I could add, lolz?

PS: Mind I have to present this infront of class (which I hate doing...)

You have to go a bit more in depth with that. Talk about the freedom of the people on the right, and the "fascist"-like depiction on the left, and how the amount of police shows the "control over the people" a direct contrast to the right.
Describe the immediate colour change between the left and right, where the left shows a dark and maybe even "deadly" place, and whereas the right shows a beautiful filed with flowers - signifying love and perfection.
Then go on to describe why the man in it threatening to cut the rope is so significant in todays world, and how even though the left and right want to be away from each other, they will never be able to survive without the other ( metaphorically speaking - they will always be connected i.e the small bridge )

You could also go into pollution and the image contrast there.

Explain how the industry burdened left is a stark contrast to the simplistic caravnish right.

Just a few pointers. I could probably write an essay on it.

Wow thanks, very interesting remarks you made there!

I need to turn this all into a world view though. A few examples of a world view;
"Society should take care of the disabled"
"Society is multicultural and that's ok/not ok"
"In society the strongest should survive"
Any suggestions how I would go around and say that? =-/

PS: Did I already say I hate doing stuff infront of the class?

Why? That image is depicting a contrast, not good or bad.....

It's my assignment to do so... Do you reckon I should find another art piece? It can be anything, it just has to express a view on the world, humanity or religion.

@Kimmmmmmmmmmmm, Hard to get a world view out of that, the image is just an Album cover.

The image on the right side also has a VW bus in it ... I see that as representative of the 60's and 70's (think Woodstock) where there was a definite mood that the established "powers" were out of touch with basic human qualities like peace, love, and freedom.   That period also had a sense of rebellion and "making a difference" even if it meant suffering for a short while.
The Prodigy's response to the sweeping legislation and crackdown on raves contained in 1994's Criminal Justice Bill is an effective statement of intent. Pure sonic terrorism, Music for the Jilted Generation employs the same rave energy that charged their debut, Experience, up the charts in Britain, but yokes it to a cause other than massive drug intake. Compared to their previous work, the sound is grubbier and less reliant on samples; the effect moved the Prodigy away from the American-influenced rave and acid house of the past and toward a uniquely British vision of breakbeat techno that was increasingly allied to the limey invention of drum'n'bass. As on Experience, there are so many great songs here that first-time listeners would be forgiven for thinking of a greatest-hits compilation instead of a proper studio album. After a short intro, the shattering of panes of glass on "Break & Enter" catapults the album ahead with a propulsive flair. Each of the four singles -- "Voodoo People," "Poison," "No Good (Start the Dance)," and "One Love" -- are excellent, though album tracks like "Speedway" and "Their Law" (with help from Pop Will Eat Itself) don't slip up either. If Experience seemed like an excellent fluke, Music for the Jilted Generation is the album that announced the Prodigy were on the charts to stay. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide

The bridge signifies not just a geographical divide but a human divide;
Cliff signifies how you can't be in between, only on one side or the other;
Difference in ground colour signifies the difference in views - green for happy and natural etc.

Just a few quick things I can see by looking at that ... just look beyond the picture, think about the history and context and you'll be able to write essay upon essay upon this sort of thing. I did it frequently a year or two ago.
