blow up mines with explosives?

Hehe, I may be an ass on the forums sometimes (mostly in response to idiotic questions) but I don't need to cover up videogame tactics to get an edge.

Well after reading that, I have to come clean too! lol.

I try to spot out AT Mines to my team by shooting in the dirt around them (with an APC), and after the new patch, I was astonished to see the AT mine explode! C4 still had no affect with the 30mm APC gun.

i thought the same when i read about that possibility
but does the M95 really the trick now? i know it does in RL hmm gonna test it. would be nice to not kill the engineer directly but to detonate the mine hes just putting on the ground

Thats a very good point if the engineer was laying a mine and standing near it, then you shot the mine, would it be classed as a suicide or a kill to you ?

Ar, i wish i could answer the question, because I've been a victim of this new feature *blush*.
I was in a tank trying to get to a flag in kubra dam. I saw the mines on the ground and started sneaking around them (if you can use the term 'sneaking' when talking about a ~70tons tank). But at some point I was stuck and surrounded with mines. Going back or exiting the tank would be a sign of weakness so I just stood there and tried to kill the engineer and other people defending the flag.
That's when a smart one using assault kit sent me a grenade and all the mines detonated. I don't know if he was aiming at me or my surroundings, but it was damn effective. Damage-wise it must be pretty close from C4.
Unfortunatly I don't remember who was credited for the kill.

I hope we can do that with claymores too, would be very nice to disarm them before JoeTeamMate happily blows himself up.

yeah i noticed that when some guy on our team was patiently camping in a base for about 15 minutes with at mines. I threw a grenade at someone and blew them all up for him.

not my finest moment but i was laying out C4 on a road near some existing AT mines, i forgot i had already thrown out a few C4 earlier so i did the wonderful throw-throw-click-blow yourself up trick. the c4 blew up the at mines and the poor guy who layed out the at mines got a teamkill.

Is there any way that we know of of defeating Clays ontop of the Sniper roof near the Square on Karkand?

Nades don't go that high, do they?

or, better example, That Really high sniper roof on Jalalabad, You can;t throw a nade up there...
