Ok, I have what I am assuming to be some kind of insect INSIDE MY SCREEN. It isnt a hallucination, cause I have pics. And it isnt a smudge, cause it is moving around.

Proof:

This is one of the strangest tech related things to have happened to me.

My current plan is to just wait it out, it will die eventually. Plus it is amusing.

Has anyone ever seen something like this?

Holy shit, yes, I had something like this happen earlier this year with really tiny brown bugs that came out during the spring. The fuckers were small enough to crawl in between lcd and the backlight and would move around nonstop.

Fortunately they had a short lifespan and died within a few days, else that would have bugged the shit out of me(mmm, punny).

Haha, thats exactly what this one seems to be doing. Flitting around between the panel and the backlight.

God damn it >.<

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

You get x-rayed bugs instead

That's a very silly website.
It has a Google Pagerank of 5 and receives about 1400 hits per day.

Pretty good for a simple html image and a sound file.
Is it my headphones or is the sound off-center?

I think it's a little more bass on the left but the tssh is on the right.

I think it's to simulate individual drums in a set that're a little apart.

And it's not an HTML image and sound file, it's an Adobe Flash SWF Movie

How did you find out how many hits the site gets per day? Alexa?
