I noticed that pretty much all the prices of PC hardware have gone up quite a lot recently here in Finland. For example the Q9450/Q9550 went up 30€ and Club3D HD 4870 X2 costs now 60€ more than a while ago.

Prices of current Intel CPUs should be going down thanks to Core i7 but that is not happening atm.

Are the prices going up elsewhere too? Damn I hate the economical crysis that is going on in the US.

Intel has had some really strange pricing lately around here. Just look at this: http://multitronic.fi/graph.php?prod=BX80570E8400 for the E8400.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Over here all prices seem up have gone up ~10%
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

I've got a list of components for a system build sitting, waiting for me to actually order them towards end of next week, on Dabs.com - up until about this last week, the prices kept on creeping downwards - as per normal - then, just this week, the price of almost every component has jumped up to the point where I'm going to have to re-spec the build.
