I've heard some people saying that the G3 is "better" in the 1.2 version. What did EA change with it (hell, if it's good enough I may finally put that unlock to good use)?
i would unlock it to get the F2000 eventually, that gun is awsome

Is this correct? The BF2S Wiki says the G3 does 40 damage per shot. Therefore, it means one G3 hit = 80 damage to the head, 40 damage to the unarmored body, and 28 damage to the armored body. That seems to suggest that even the mighty G3 can't do a 1 hit kill...unless my calculation of "head shot damage = 2x normal damage" is wrong?deject wrote:

Anyway, to answer the original thread question, the G3's accuracy has been tweaked. Especially when you're not moving and crouching or prone, the G3 is a lot more accurate than it used to be. It doesn't feel that much more accurate when standing or moving, but for all I know, maybe it is a little more precise now.

I know that the G3, all the sniper rifles, the PKM, all the shotguns (you basically have to be rubbing up against his face for some of the semi-automatics though), even the L85A1 (the previously atrocious medic unlock) are one headshot kill weapons.

Good to hear, I thought originally that it was a wasted unlock for me (only used it on USMC Assault, used the AK's over it). Not sure about the F2000 though; I really liked it at first but now it seems a bit inaccurate to me, I get outshot by G36C's and AK's at long range...
yea im not to fond of the f2000 either...small mag capacity...even with that scope and added accuracy it still doesnt feel like its packing much more of a punch...although flash bangs can be fun if your trying to knife people
Headshot does not count as a damage. It counts as a death.
i wish they upped the clip to 30. I use 20 rounds practically on 1 person. I have found to be better shooting the G3 than the F2000.
