Ok I know i need to find a dvd drive that is the same exact version as the one im replacing. I'm told i have to hook the old drive up to my computer, get a key off the drive, then hook the new drive up, and then put the old key on the new drive. Then i can install it and it will work like a charm. Can anyone help me find a detailed guide on this? I just want to be EXACTLY sure of what im doing so i dont make ANY mistakes what so ever. So can someone that has attempted this before write a detailed guide or can you find me a guide please?

Did your DVD drive stop working but everything else does? Because thats what mine did like a year ago and I haven't been able to fix it since, I ended up getting a new one. But if there's a way to fix it I'd be really interested as wellNeXuS wrote:

Serious Flex
Well whats wrong with the drive? If it wont read games try checking the magnet inside, if it scratches the games then you need to add more lubricant to the motor, or if it just doesnt work by one of ebay.
