I started playing WoW again just after the 3.0 patch, i went back to see what had changed and it got me all excited about a game i said i'd never play again. I went out and bought the new expansion on Thursday and i have to say it's really good, mainly good to be levelling again, exploring new areas and just finding that team spirit again.

I've persisted in levelling my Warlock in Lich King, i had considered going all out on a Death Knight, but from the buffs we recieved in 3.0 it made Warlock fun to play again instead of being a squishy meatbag like it was pre 3.0.

I'd like to hear fellow players opinions on the new expansion, and please, if you don't have anything constructive to say then don't say anything at all, flames and random 'oh WoW is for losers/nerds/idiots' is so old too, just don't bother.

I've been playing off and on for a while and started playing about every other day or so after 3.0 came out. My dad's been playing ever since Expansion came out and he made a Death Knight on my server >.<. Made one early this morning on a server I had another 70 on that's high population, love the starting area and quests. Didn't get far though, made it to 58 and got to hellfire and my dad woke up and wanted to play. Can't wait to get to northrend though.

Ive tried a bit of northrend with my lvl 70 got outside the main castle area.It looks good but i was drawn to play a death knight.

Currently lvl 63,its a great class tp play for a big change from playing a hunter.
Looks like this one will draw me in again until i hit the lvl cap and get bored of pvp....

Yeah it's mad how quick people done it, i heard someone done it in 21 hours, i don't know how valid that is but i can quite believe it.

There's a bunch of level 80's on Shattered Hand, they was doing Naxx last night

My Warlock is now quite close to 73, i've pretty much cleared Borean Tundra and started moving around Howling Fjord clearing quests, i'm really enjoying it so far. Northrend looks amazing and since i upgraded my PC i've been able to max the game out completely, it just looks great.

And don't get me started on how amusing it is to play Death Knight

Yeah its mad eh, these guys who did make level 80 three days after the expansion release just play like machines. Three of them who levelled on our server are in the same guild and levelled together all the time. That means quests took a shorter amount of time and you do get a group bonus but also they was doing it without rest exp, i don't think someone would have done it solo in that same space of time tho.

I expect to hit level 80 in three to four weeks, at best!

Everyone is going on about this, so lets make things clear:

1) TwenthFifthNovember (a code name for the date the guild's identity will be revealed) is a combination of <Nihilum> and <SK Gaming>. That's two of the world's top MMO guilds combined; two professional full-time guilds of sponsored players that have been playing WoW basically as a paid-job for the last 2 years of their life.

2) Said people thus entered the new expansion content in the best gear possible, fully enchanted/socketed Sunwell gear, so it's safe to say that with the gear-scaling and difficulty-curve- their gear bought them a big advantage and a lot of ease and convenience in Northrend.

3) The 'entry level' instances and raid-content in WotLK at this moment (i.e. initial release) is mainly based around the reintroduction of Naxxramas. Both Nihilum and SK Gaming were some of the most successful and well-known Naxxramas guilds... they literally cleared the exact same instance with the exact same bosses and exact same strategy. Easy peasy for them.

_{By the way, before anyone whines about a 'lack of imagination', Naxxramas was reintroduced because it is widely regarded as Blizzard's best-designed dungeon, only the first incarnation of the instance was far too difficult for 99.99% of people-- only the hardest raiders ever even got to enter the instance}.

So really it's not all that surprising. Yes they no life. Yes it is rather sad. But then, its them that will be sat around the cities idling, being able to do nothing for the first 2-3 months whilst everyone else catches up. Sucks for them.

Well, 7x24 = 168. http://bf2s.com/player/101963510/ is the highest legit SPM I know, and it's an inf account. So three star = no.

Maybe in like 2 1/2?
