naw id rather having FF on. i prefer watching some people yelling at each other for punishing

Friendly Fire off is not against the ROE. It is suggested that it be on for all weapons. I like it on myself. Makes for a more interesting game.
I like it on as it adds more tactics to the game. Without it, one can just send in a bunch of troops along with arty and not worry about them dying. You can use C4 to get ontop of buildings (like that tower in Karkand next to Train) and exploit the lack of collision mesh to be able to shoot out of it.
Now that is exploiting a glitch and is against the ROE Executioner. It will get you banned and your stats reset.
