Ok, a question for you gfx pros:
Currently i have an Nvidia geforce 6100 (onboard lololol), and i need to upgrade (obviously) but i don't really have much money.
However, I've got a friend who can sell me a 7300 (GS i think) for £10 - will this improve my performance in bf2 much? Atm i play in 800 x 600, all low settings apart from texture, texture filtering and view distance, and get 30fps, with the same settings at 1680 x 1050 i get 15 fps. Ideally, i'd like to change my resolution to 1680 x 1050 but it's currently unplayable - if i bought the 7300 would it a) make a significant difference to framerate, and b) would i be able to play at 1680 x 1050, with 30fps or more (30fps = playable framerate, anything below is kinda hard to play with).
I have 2gb ddr ram, and a athlon 64 3800+, running xp, if this makes a difference
