I have no idea when it comes to GPUs, all I know is that it has to be AGP.

Did a quick eBay search and this is what came up.

http://shop.ebay.co.uk/items/_W0QQ_dmpt … ;_osacat=0

I know that the 7600GT is the best, but I'm not prepared to spend £60 or £70 quid on one, so can someone recommend me the best value for money?

Graphics Card? The 7600GT is probably your best bet.

Why would you ask about a card that costs 118 pounds when you wont spend 60?

My little brother (Schmoopy) is selling his 7600gt. But I don't want to buy it 'cause he's being a prick and wanting £50 for it. I said £40. He paid £0 for it.

I want need a new gfx card as I'm getting a bigger monitor soon. So it has to be able to cope with a 22-28" monitor.

What do you have now?
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Why sell it to him for £20, putting me £30 down, when I could e-bay it for £50, and get a better computer for myself? Even mates rates don't sell that low.

By the way, if anyone wants to buy it/bid it up...

I gave my 7600 to a mate for fucking free. And I'm not exactly rich.
