I personally love it when my rank is glitched to private.  The higher up you get the bigger the bullseye.  If sergeant and a Captain are running side by side I go for the Captain.  I'll shoot a Colonel or General before I aim at a sergeant or private.  Having that private tag tend to make people think you are a new player, which leads them to underestimate you.  That gives me the edge I think. The people messing with ya probably recognized you name and were, well, messing with you.

I don't get it, when you are shooting someone, unless you are sniping and just looking at them for ages how can you see their name, let alone their rank?
