Then it's not a movie. It's a series of fast moving slides with stupid large men on them.

You should seriously reconsider watching more of these light hearted action flicks with mentioned stars try "Tango and Cash" with Kurt Russel and Stallone then you can slowly move over and maybe you will enjoy it for what it is.

I saw Max Payne yesterday, it was a movie full of "meh", but I needed something simple and shallow to watch anyway.

+ Game references (E.g. Valkyr-tags all over the city)
+ Mark Wahlberg at least tries to give some personality to the character
+ Game atmosphere almost there at times
+ Easy watching
+ Lots of gunfire
+ Having played the game, you wait for upcoming scenes that you've played -> anticipation

- Fight scene against Lupino too short (I remember the shootout at Ragnarock being a bitch to get through, lol)
- Shitty casting of Lupino
- Shitty casting of Mona Sax, and why is she carrying around a goddamn MP5K?
- "Flat" and emotionless dream and near death-scenes
- Ends in a full stop after an again too short Aesir Corp. shootout scene
- Absence of naked tits

At least it's not Uwe Boll.
