Petrol prices could tumble by more than 10p a litre in time for Christmas, bringing cheer to millions of motorists.
The price of crude oil yesterday crashed below 50 dollars a barrel to hit its cheapest point in more than three years.
The drastic fall prompted experts to predict unleaded could go below 83p a litre by Christmas.
That would mean a huge plunge from its current average price and bring great relief to Britain’s families and businesses who were hit by record costs earlier this year. Yesterday’s average pump prices were 94.53p a litre for unleaded and 108.66p for diesel.
Yeah, over here in Canada, prices went from a $1.30 to .70 cents a litre.

Umm, no. Oil prices are too low for manufacturers now so they are stockpiling to keep prices high. 85p? I doubt it.

Gas here is sitting at $1.76US. That's the lowest it has been in years. I filled my brothers Cadillac the other night and it only cost $28 bucks.
Vmax was 97.9p when I filled up a few hours ago, cheapest it's been in a bloody long time!
