The update itself is fantastic... however, there are no AMAZING games to play with it

Playing RSV:2 atm, which is good enough

Lol. Need to shave. And get a hair cut. But until I do my avatar is staying true to life.

I also need some decent clothes . Is there a way to make the avatar appear poor?

I like it, but it has too many panes now. It needs to be cut down to the bare minimum and made slightly more colourful. The green just gets dull after a while.

I keep getting kicked out of my live parties for some reason. It will say everyone in the party left and I gotta rejoin them >.< Other than that it's pretty tight
if you have a netflix subscription already all you need to do is link the account up... streams fine.

The Hard Drive install option has so far left me in a state of "I think i'd rather leave the game uninstalled tbh". I was just driving about in GTA 4. I go into the Booth Tunnel from the Aldernay side (after loading the game from the aldernay safe room). Its full of low res textures because the high-res ones haven't loaded yet, and then instead of the high-res textures loading, the the entire tunnel vanishes and i'm driving through empty space.

It eventually all appears around me about halfway through the tunnel. I come out into a street on the Manhattan side, and there are huge gaps in the ground where all the buildings are supposed to be. I cautiously drive up to one of these square pieces of missing world, and bump into it. They too eventually turn into huge low res boxes, and then into buildings.

The game obviously streams a lot faster from the disc than it does from the hard drive so why bother with the feature at all? It makes the game unplayable if my initial impression is anything to go by.

Edit: I've just driven around a bunch more and yeah its just more of the same. Driving down a straight road will eventually have me driving amongst low res textures for the road and buildings, i've had buildings not appear until i'm right up to them. etc etc.

Going to uninstall as soon as i'm finished playing. I thought the entire point of the installs was to make this sort of thing faster not slower .

It's a very new feature they're probably still working on it, on a side note do you have HD on or is it SD res ?

Set to 'TV' mode on the cable and i'm playing it on an SD TV if that counts. I see no other SD settings.

So I think its set to SD, yes.

I find the feature pointless as well, it would be nice if you could just play the game without the disk. But there is a flaw to that with people renting video games at a store or borrowing it from a friend to install to the hard drive and playing without paying.

Yeah and if that would be possible they'd start with a secuROM on the 360 >_< .

No problem, at least I don't have to insert a disk. I also came up with an idea, you can improve your games' graphics by downloading files that have it for free, imagine playing Bad Company in HD or Blue Ray

I already did, it wasn't that good.

And blu-ray is a type of disc.

And you can't just magically improve the 360's graphics with software.

What do you mean you already did? Also I am well aware blueray is a type of disk, and also I aren't meaning to magically improve graphics I was just exaggerating a little.
