Hello,

Ok well here's exactly what happened, to the smallest detail.

I got my new PC. Installed Vista 32bit, installed the motherboard drivers ( I think I got em all...), and the graphic card driver.

Then I plug it into internet (Ethernet cable), and it doesn't work. I restart PC, and internet works. Then I see the time and notice it's time for school, so I put my PC into "Sleep" mode, and go to school for my 3 hour afternoon class.

I get back and resume my work like it was when I left. Exept internet doesn't work. WTF right?  So I tried alot of things and nothing seams to work.

I did tests and I know for sure it's not the cable. The PC's "Diagnoses" says it's either a software driver problem, or a motherboard problem.   But it work just before that and now it doesn't!

I'm really clueless for these kind of things. Any help is appreciated

EDIT:   The error message is      There are driver or hardware problems with the network adaptor "Realtek RTL8101 family PCI-E Fast Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0) on this computer"

Thanks

You did try rebooting, right?
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Dang, I don't have a USB key to put it on my other PC.   Do you suppose I could put it on my cellphone then into my PC?

.zip

I tired opening it on THIS pc with winraw and it said there was an error, so I don't know if it'll work on my PC.

Also....why would I need to do this upload if my internet worked fine yesterday then I get back and it doesn't work. WTF?

I'm soooooooo annoyed right now I can't even express it...actually it happens all the time with computers...they're so screwed up.

I can almost bet money that it was your driver. Something went wrong when you installed it, and subsequent opperations saw it as already installed so didn't properly fix it.

Did you reinstall all of Windows, or just the drivers?

You won the money. It was the driver, I had to completely reinstall the disk that came with my mobo. EVERYTHING took a few hours, but it was worth it.

How much did you bet ?
