When I am playing a game my computer will shut down. whether its 10 mins or 1 hour into game play it will shut down without warning and when I turn it back on no warning or anything. The games I am playing when this occurs is L4D, Age of Empire 3, Crysis Warhead. These are the only games I have played recently and they all shut my computer right down. This has never happened to me while playing ANY game before, it just started occuring yesterday.
Now I believe this is a problem with something over heating. So I installed SpeedFan to check my tempuratures but the truth is I dont know shit about what is good and what is bad so I well give you the temps.

GPU - 53c
System -  -65c (minus? wtf? thats damn cold)
CPU - 42c
AUX - -65 (again why?)
Core 0 - 51c
Core 1 - 51c

System specs

GeForce 8800gt 256 mb
Core 2 duo E6550 2.33GHz
600watt psu
NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI MCPs
Also My cas has 3 fans inside.

This should be all the info you guys need to tell my why it shuts down.
Thanks.

My guess is it's the PSU ...

Varegg is correct. A 600watt psu is below the minimum req for a 8800gt, especially with a cpu that speed and powering 3 fans.

Get a new PSU from a reliable manufacturer.

Really? thats shitty. I have had this computer for about 10 months and had absolutely no problems with this. Other than that all the tempuratures are fine right?

So could it be that its not supplying enough power or that its over heating?
Nah ... i think it's supplying enough power but it could be broken, can you hear any sounds from it that wasn't there before? ... most PSUs have a automatic shutdown feature ...

I have a 8800GTX and 6 fans and no probs. It's probably defective psu

lol I just noticed it's only a 256mb card, I assumed it was 512 with non-stock fans.

But a reliable manufacturer for a PSU is essential.

I always thought the 450 minimum for example didn't include processor, extra fans, hdds, etc. But you'd know more than me.
