Look for a desktop back ground, kinda like the kind you have in Windows Media player, with all the colors and shit going everywhere, just in higher def and that plays a little slower. Anyone know a place I can find one? (For free).

The type Im looking for is in the Battery selection, that type of stuff, preferably a mix.

I don't know of anything exactly like what you're looking for, but if you have vista ultimate or pay $10 for their program for vista premium(err..whatever), you can download a bunch of cool animated desktop wallpapers from this site - http://dream.wincustomize.com/index.aspx?c=1

I love you. Can someone tell me how to get it so that when you drag your mouse along the top of the screen a little bar drops down with which you can control WinAMP, Ive seen that before.

Also, when I fullscreen the visulations, it seems like its a little laggy. Any way to fix this or is it just the program?

8800GTS 512 and 4 GB of PC6400 RAM. This shouldnt be overloading that, least not the RAM, I checked that out and its only using 31% including Vista and all other programs.

And another question. My volume is all the way up in Windows and all the way up on the little bar in WinAMP, but is there a way to get it a little, or a lot higher, as is hinted in the name of the program.

Contrary to the name, WinAmp does not actually "amplify" the sound. If it's coming out quiet, the cause is probably you sound card.

Otherwise, it's the fact that computer's aren't meant to output too much more than needed to run some headphones, keep that in mind.

I get 40FPS on on-board

In Milkdrop. AVS does run like shit on any hardware.

The slidey thing you're talking about is called WindowShade. Right click Winamp and choose Dock > to Top.

Ahh ok thanks man.

EDIT: Right click what? I clicked in icon in the tray and there is nothing that says Dock, same happens when I rightclick any part of the program.

Found out how to get rid of the lag when using visualizations, just take the program and drag it to a corner, as long as it is semi covering the screen, maybe just a couple inches at most, the lag is gone.

Right click at the top of main window, under window settings there's 'docked toolbar'
Easiest way is to enable 'dock/undock windows by dragging' so you can just drag it to the top (or bottom or side)

I did that but it just resizes to fix the top of the screen, and is still huge. How do I get it so it is like the size of the windows bar at the bottom of the screen, yet at the top and only appears when i drag mouse over area. If ya know what I mean .

Depends on your skin, but if you have the bento skin there's a button right next to the close button in top right corner. Click it and then dock it.

Double click the top of Winamp.

Note that Winamp behaves strangely when switching modes. You may have to disable and re-enable Autohide or any similar feature to get them going again.

I myself just went from Docked to Top to WindowShade (yer, they are different, soz), and it made a permanent bar at the top even though Autohide was enabled. "Turning it off and on again" made it behave correctly.

If your sound is too quiet, try double clicking on the little speaker icon in the taskbar to get to the advanced "Master Volume" control thing. There should be a slider called Wave... Turn that up

Note: I dont use Vista, so Im not sure if you can do this the same way. If you dont have the volume icon in your task tray, try going into the sound options in the control panel
