Me and my dad went and rented "The Bank Job" and I realized it was rated R when I was putting it into the deck. I've seen Jason Statham in another movie with sex in it, Crank. It would be just me and my dad watching it. The thing is that he likes to joke about sex and shit and it makes it really awkward and uncomfortable for me. So much so that I don't want to watch the movie with him. He came in a couple of minutes ago and asked why I wasn't out there and I lied and said I would prefer to just stay on the computer like I usually do. He seemed kinda bummed out about it.

Does this make me look like a jerk?

Learn to laugh at what he is saying. To get on that well with your dad that you don't feel uncomfortable about something you both like is very important. As Ted says, don't take your family for granted for a second. Just watch it, don't mention a word at any nudity etc.
