So.... i installed vista on my computer. yay right? wrong.
It was like artifacting during instalation of vista (see pictures)... i dont know if this is normal or something but yer....
so then it stopped doing that after installation and all was going well until i installed my catalyst drivers, i restarted the computer like it told me to and now the computer turns on properly etc. (and fans on graphics card are running) but the monitor says "no signal detected" or similar and after a while the lights at the front of the computer stop.

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. Just because the fans are spinning does not mean it is working.
99% of the time, artifacting is a hardware problem (overheating, unstable overclock, etc.) I can assure you that Vista is not to blame.
