Given the corporate and govt systems can't hink more than a quarter ahead it would make sense to tax it back up to $4 a gallon, and use the tax for something.I'm not saying lets have $4 gas. But when it starts approaching $1.50 I can assure you that people will not prioritize the issue. This will forever leave us at the mercy of an bass akward civilization.

I was stating it actually. Oil is pretty inelastic and while I'm sure there has been a decrease in demand it can't be that much. If OPEC was to put all the available oil on the market right now (excluding time lag) prices would drop even further.
