It is weird in cod4 that if a nade lands at your feet and in front of your team mates, which was thrown by some bastard on the other team, you pick it up to throw it away\back and if it explodes in your face you die as a suicide and your team mates are team killed.

I've had it happen to me and have also seen my kills robbed and become teamkills for whoever picked it up.

Would make more sense if I thrown back grenade is a suicide for the player who threw it instead.

uh no i played one competitive match in bf2 and i realized its a bunch of fat 14 year olds with high pitched voices talking shit over the internet because games are their lives. im a "pubnub" according to them although when i played bf2 i could hold my own against warchild players on the bfpro servers

and i play fps maybe 30 mins a week. Ive played fps since i was 13 and no new fps games awe me anymore, its all the same...bored of it.

Tactical servers in COD4 dont allow nades for 20 seconds. And you have to have uniform contact to throw, hence no nade spam. UAV is not visual contact and neither is seeing a gun stick out of a window. No nade spam ever!!!!!

I honestly thought that this was going to be a thread about how shitty grenades of all kinds are compared to their real-life counterparts. Heh.

One of my biggest complaints about CS/CS:S were its grenades...specifically, how weak they were: you could crouch on one with armor and it would not kill you.

COD4 grenades were pretty effective, but I hate the maps and lame perks and rank system.

BF2 grenades are effective, but support players throwing them at a rate of 40 grenades a minute is ridiculous...considering running 50 feet in the game exhausts your stamina, each grenade toss should take off a bit of stamina so you tire out after about 15-20 sec. of throwing 'em.
