ok before you hit back saying i've heard this like 30 times plz i did serch and it didn't answer my question.  i have been playin BF2 sice X-mas and it has worked super but for some reason now i have like 300 ping i can't do anything or aim at all. i can't look in one place it turns and moves me everywherre i don't press any keys and it like spins me in circles. it didn't used to do this i hate to say it but i think the patch did it becuse it all started when i downloaded it. I have an XPS it has Dueal CPU 2.8GHz 1 gig or RAM(people say its not enough but wow) 256 MB X600 

so plz help me i am a total retard when it comes to computers so like plz tell me what to do.

lol try to see if u dont have a virus or anything first, after that some of the video cards are not compatible with the new patch u are not the only one experiencing problems, so you might have to wait till next patch or u can play 1.2 not 1.21 but i doubt they have that many ranked servers , anyhow also check ur internet provider if ur ping increases it must be do to the bad connection u are experiancing with ur network so call ur network company and (i hope its not dsl ...lol) tell them that u are having slower rate of connection high ping that is. Also make sure u did not download something that took over ur computer some software or something, also go to "RUN" type in msconfig and remove some of the software prior to starting and while PC is working it will help ur pc not use so much power for uneeded places. Also if this does not help go to www.experts-exchange.com and see if u can get some help there. GL
