WTF???

FFS, Fuck that mission.

The car you have to drive is absolute bullshit, can't move worth a shit, my driver is level 13, and no matter how fast I drive I end up like 5-10 seconds away from the finish when the time runs out.

I'm not hitting a single car, trying not to swerve but I just can't do it.

Has anyone else done it? All the missions up until now have been piss, and the other non-job missions I can do fine, but I'm not getting anywhere in the game.

Can you pick your own route, or is it like an actual race?

I just got this for PC, it's alright.  TBH, the GT review is wrong and they just bashed the game in every respect, (what else is new, GT just sucks whichever companies balls that pay their ass for a bias review, apparently EA missed the window) it has it's flaws, it's very easy to win once you get the hang of it, but it's a decent arcade racer, nothing in this game should be taken seriously.

They took the idea of Most Wanted (Cops, speed breaker, regenerating NOS, open world), used ProStreet's physics and driving system, added a 'B' class story to it to make it interesting, and called it NFS.  Since my expectations weren't that high, I found it funny to watch the cut scenes, because the actors try too hard.  More comical than anything.

My only complaint is that my car is off-centered, and always turns to the left, slightly.  Very annoying in Highway battles, when clean sections are everything, as well as that my racing wheel is very sensitive, even though I turned all the sensitivity down.   I've gotten used to it, so it isn't that big of a problem anymore. (I don't know how to fix the problem, I've checked my wheel in Windows, everything is perfectly centered...)

Last thing, it isn't a very graphically demanding game at all.  I'm playing with every maxed (6X AA) on a 1600 X 1080 (something in that neighborhood) on a 9800GT 512MB and the frame rate is considerably decent, with only occasional dips here and there.  Otherwise, the game runs nicely.  Graphics are nice, but nothing epic.

@OP: What car do you get?  Is it an Audi?  Reminds me of the movie.

this game isnt worth buying.. was just too easy and in the end ramming people at high speeds became more fun than actually racing.  graphics are pretty swell but could of been a lot better.. even though the blur effect was there it still didnt feel like i was doing 300km+   and it needs a better car shopping system...  if EA is going to get it right, especially considering the title.. they should of sent people to tokyo to see what people really do to their cars and what cars they use...

the last time i head of someone doing up a porsche and racing it.... was... well.. i haven't a clue ... don't get me wrong i love the porsche.. just wish someone would actaully make a game that felt like you were living it..

and yeah the acting was terrible

possibly cause the storyline sucked

the writers should take a page out of Underbelly

^Hence the name "Arcade Racer".  Go play Grand Turismo or Forza for reality, that wasn't the main concern in NFS.

BTW, this mission the OP is talking about is incredibly easy, I did it my first try, with >30 Secs. to spare.  The car is fine, the Audi kicks ass.
