the stingers always did and still do lock onto and shoot at the flames.
is the missile actually stuck in it? or is it just locking on to it?

theres no missle and when i shot at it the missle just arched up like there was no lock

the bug was that the missiles got stuck in the oil tower flames.
what your describing doesnt sound anything out of the ordinary for shooting a stinger thats not locked onto a vehichle.
