Overclocking resets after a few seconds

Everything worked fine, until today:

So, today I got a new 1TB drive, I installed it and started my computer after showing the boot screen it restarts and all overclocking values are reset to standard.

Specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6300
Gigabyte 965P-DS3 Rev 2.0 BIOS F13
2 x 1024 MB A-Data Vitesta RAM 800 Mhz 4-4-4-12
Sparkle nVidia GeForce 8800 GT

Western Digital WD1001FALS 1 TB

Overclocking settings:

Robust Grafik booster Auto
CPU Clock Ratio 7
CPU Host Control enabled
CPU Host Frequency 400
PCI-E FQ 100
CIA2 disabled
System Memory Multi 2.00
Memory FQ 800
System Voltage Control Manual
DDR2 overvoltage control +0.2
PCI-E Ovc normal
FSB ovc +0.1
MCH ovc +0.1
CPU VC 1.3500

With the 1 TB drive, 2 dvd drives and 3 hard drives are plugged via SATA into the board.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. Does it work if you unplug the new drive?

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. I have to wait, because I'm moving some data, but when it's finished I try it.

And if I try a lower clock speed? Like 2,5 instead of 2,8 GHz? or less

Sometimes when you add/remove hardware the BIOS will reset itself (very rare, but it happens) so it's worth checking.

yeah after the restart, I restored the default settings in bios and set everything to the parameters I have always, so speedstep should be off

So, reducing FSB and Core Voltage helped, it now runs at 7x350

So, it still keeps reseting, I changed everything, Core Voltage, Timings of the RAM, FSB, I plug out the 1TB drive, took out the RAM, everytime I overclock it resets. Last time it was like that, was when I had my old Leadtek 7950 GT in, because the BIOS of the graphiccard had problems with the mainboard BIOS

And I don't think it's a problem of the power supply

Ive got the same board, with a E6600.
It wont let me take the cpu host frequency above 350 with out having failed restarts and reseting the bios numbers.
try setting it to 345, thats what I did, if I try to go higher than that, it just resets.
Also I didnt have to turn up any voltages other than the cpu one to get there.

Try bumping the north bridge voltage a little.

After a long night everything works fine, CPU runs at 2,8 GHz and Ram at 4-4-4-12 @ 800 MHz, problem got solved by plugging out one dvd drive

Thats running from your problem not solving it. Obviously your PSU can't handle as much power as requested by the components.

He needs a new power supply with enough connections for all the components and perhaps a higher wattage, it's that simple. Most problems with computers seem to stem from power issues more often than not.
