Hey, I keep getting disconnected every time i join a game. I get in for maybe 5 second before I get disconnected. I reinstalled a few days ago twice and it did it both times. Each time i reinstall i play for a few hours without getting disconnected at all and then it starts randomly. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or knows any specific ports that may need to be opened. I dont get any errors or PB warnings, and the only message i get after is "you have been disconnected" Thanks for you help!
It only happens on BF2 and not WoW or CoD4?

What router do you use? Windows firewall enabled? Any other firewalls active?
no firewalls and a lynksis router, im playing today and it is not disconnecting yet so its weird.
Could it be something server-side? Like, issues with the Gamespy master servers?

im not sure, but today it wasnt every 5 seconds, it would just randomly do it. so confused.

yea punkbuster is fine and I dont get any messages from it either. I even installed the PB client and ran it to make sure it was up to date

those numbers are scary... lol. i guess i do that thru the admin process on the router program? i am bad at compuers, aka i am ftl. so i guess i can try that. and ummmmmm what is AV? lol the video card?
