I've given some help around here...sometimes. So I need help for a change. Well I just today got a joystick, and I regret buying it actually....it's much harder then the mouse and keyboard. I've been going for my Ariel Service Ribbon for a couple of weeks now and it's pretty tough when everybody steals your plane. Any tips on any maps or servers that aren't full of jackasses who TK for planes or do crap like that for a plane. I realyl do want to get this ribbon.

yea i know what u mean, believe me, using a joystick will be much easier in the end!

you should try the zatar map, only 1 chopper tho but larger map, also from the carrier in wake should provide u a chopper or a plane!

I know you are asking for specific servers, but I can't really help with that, instead I will give you some tips to make your joystick usage more pleasant!

Just practice on a local server for a bit with the joystick, bombing empty vehicles and such, you'll get it with some time and it will be better in the long run. Also, I highly recommend running this small utility application to further enhance your bf2 joystick functionality. JoyToKey should be pretty straightforward, but if you need some help with setting things up or ideas about what it can do feel free to ask. 'Stick' with it and you'll be much happier you made the switch!

Wake island is a good map to get ur aerial ribbon. i gotten mine on that map

A good server of Wake Island i found and stick to it is called

Hostile Faction Wake island 24/7 IP: 70.86.40.118:16567

...its a 32 players map and i never got tked for the plane, but u might whide getting tked, i mean u dont decided who get on the server and who wont. Its part of the game.

But this server is really decent i love it. poeple that play there everyday are good and fair players.

Go China on Wake Island, and if you've got any skill in the air it should be a breeze.  J-10 > F-35B

EDIT:
Most EA servers get stuck on Wake Island because people with the 32 player map filter will not see EA servers when they reset at 3:00.  On another note, EA should really change the map rotation to get the late maps back into the game.
