...but from all that I read and watched so far, it looks like it can accomplish this task quite well. I´m really looking forward to it. It´s about damn time someone pulled a Ghostbusters game in 3D ffs!unnamednewbie13 wrote:

CoD still has Vietnam, Korea and WW1 (campfest).TimmmmaaaaH wrote:

Fuck me, CoD6? How is that something to look forward to, surely they have done like all time periods twice now.
It'd be interesting. I trust IW could pull it off.
True, but WWI seems mighty boring IMO for a game.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

Vietnam could be good. Dont know enough about the Korean to comment.
But lets face it, they are just going to replace skins and models anyway. Vietnam can have napalm rather than airstrikes. meh.
Ghostbusters is on my want list hands down.
We will see how Call Of Duty 6/Modern Warfare 2 fans out however...

Boring...as opposed to being pinned inside a building by a helicopter?TimmmmaaaaH wrote:

Guys pouring into your trenches with bayonets and gas attacks sounds pretty intense.
If Ghostbusters does well, which it looks like it can from what I've seen online, then more 80s movies will probably be made into video games. Beverly Hills Cop anyone?
A racing Bond game? Sounds a bit dull. I want 3rd person spy, not driving.

I don't really want another modern warfare game with CoD, unless its a new engine. Because, lets face it, cod4, 5, and 6 will look exactly the same.
remember it is CoD though, so it has to have retarded gameplay and/or players.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

But yeh I guess WWI could be viable.
Have gas strikes be called in like helicopters, but it has an equally likely chance of gassing your side as the other side.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

I'm waiting for Lego Battlefield ...
Wait behind the line ..............................................................
WW1 was one of the most varied wars in terms of actual techniques used during battle. Everybody thinks western front + shitty muddy trenches with WW1 which is infact most of what happened but there were other theatres with very different methods of combat.
The war in the Middle East was very different to the western front.
Besides, read Somme Mud by E.P.F Lynch. It wasn't at all a campfest. Not for the Aussies anyway.
Oh and a new Riddick game would rock. The last one was epic. If there's something Vin Diesel did right it was producing that game. Here's hoping Riddick 2 and Wheelman both match up to his first work in the gaming industry.

Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.
It might not be sci-fi, but maybe it will be set a bit into the future - like crysis. That way, you could add new guns (XM8, Tavor, etc) but still retain a realistic feel to it.
You know what, I don't even think you realise just how awesome of a game that could beVaregg wrote:

The BF2 mod? Looks awesome. Unfortunately, it looks like it's not going to be played by many people...Varegg wrote:

Cpt. Price is probably still alive, but i'm def looking forward to the new cod.
I'm Korean and would def not like to play against my same people, and anyway Korean war would be pretty much like WW2. Vietnam war would be interesting, WW1 would be awesome tbh. No more people running around with Thompsons and PPSH spraying all over the place.

XM8 project has been abandoned (I think).Sup3r_Dr4gon wrote:

The tavor is in active service. If you want slightly in teh future but with 'realistic' guns, why not just let the devs let their imaginations run wild or at least look at putting in things like the MRC in.

I completed Riddick several times so I'm looking forward to playing the sequel!
To End All Wars. A WW1 based shooter.
Developer: Chemistry
Slated for release this year. Which I doubt is happening. Probs slipped into development hell. I can't provide web pages because the only articles and such I can find are the original announcement that Ghostlight was publishing it and that it was under development with the Unreal 3 engine.

As linear as the CoD series is, it would be a perfect platform.TimmmmaaaaH wrote:

UN13, everybody knows about Metalstorm now. I first heard about them around '03 I think. They made it big in the news here.
I want to see one of their pistol's built and demonstrated.

Maybe here they have. The majority of people I've encountered elsewhere have not. Besides, what does common knowledge have to do with weapons suggestions for a futuristic CoD?Flecco wrote:
