Things like Hard Drive space, number of optical drives, stuff like that.

If £600 is absolute limit, here is a list on things you can loose:

- Processor to Q6600 or E8400.
- 4870 to 4850
- The PSU to OCZ StealthXtream 500/600W. This Corsair one is just more powerful, reliable and has awesome warranty. Plus it's modular.
- The motherboard to some P35 chipset one, like Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3. This one is mainly better at overclocking but since you won't need that too much, P35 would do fine.
