I just got a letter on thursday from People to People Student Ambassador Program, inviting me to go to China(3rd time ) for the summer of 2009.
Pretty awesome, considering I will be the 4th person from my school getting this throughout our 30 years as a school so far.
I'm excited, it will help my college applications so much!!! ;P

Isn't that the thing that's a couple grand for a trip to x place for a bunch of kids? It's actually just a vacation isn't it?

edit: Wait no, this program is the one where you give up your home when the program is here and reduce the cost of traveling by using private housing and such. But isn't it to a bunch of different countries in a tour, not just one?

Heh, I get to go on an 11 day trip to turkey with 19 other people from my college for *drumroll* £100...

Get in there E.U. subsidy. Its probably costing them a grand or so for each student, as we're being put up in a proper hotel and will do sod all work.

Hell we go in june/july next year which will be after my A2 exams so I can do whatever the fuck I want to on this trip .
