can anyone recommend any good/touching quotes to put in my high school senior words? I really need to get them done in like the next 20 minutes, and I don't have good quotes. Something optimistic/inspiring would be good. Thanks, karma rewarded

Inside jokes are better tbh...
yeah, i know, but i don't feel like leaving anyone out, and some of my friends aren't doing them. I know i'll be mentioned in a lot of other people's words, so that should be fine.mtb0minime wrote:

It doesn't have to be a political quote from him. In fact, he's got a lot which aren't. Regardless of whether you agree with his political ideas, he's got some very inspiring quotes which could work very well.argo4 wrote:

I like the one you picked:
It might have had a political message to it, but it's got some very inspiring undertones to it which can apply to a person themselves. It's basically saying that we need to get up and do things for ourselves instead of waiting around for others to do it for us.Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.
Barack Obama
I'm probably gonna do a quote from him as well, though I graduate in 2010.

Groucho Marx quotes.
crap, this is hard, i dunno if that's gonna be in good taste or just fall flat and remind everyone of an overused campaign slogan. Also, his quotes will be popular with others, but then again Thoreau shows up a lot too.Poseidon wrote:

Just go for it. Don't worry about whether it's overused or not. It's a good quote regardless.argo4 wrote:

I used a Lenin quote for mine. It wasn't exactly inspiring, though.
I believe I had 'Solyent Green is people' in mine. Which wasn't so much inspiring as a warning.

I'm afraid young man I have to pop out now but I am your man for this I shit you not. Yeah I might have my head stuck up my arse right now but even so, I'm clever as fuck, as blunt as a spoon and straight to the point. I also have a lot of expereince. I am however happily envolved with my GF and not trying to crack onto you. If I was I would list my hobbies, like romantic walks on the beach, dancing, cinema's and x-stitch knitting.argo4 wrote:
