When formatting my PC recently I decided to try making to partitions, so that I could have 40 gig of my 150 gig hard drive for games and windows (I don't have many games) and the rest for files etc.

I want to remove this and just have the one big 150 gig of space, but without losing any of my date on my 40 gig partition (nothing on the other one)

Is this possible?

right click computer --> manage. Delete the second large partition. Extend the 40GB partition into the empty space.

make sure to do a backup first. All data on the big partition will be lost

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

Everything is possible. I personally prefer Acronis disk director for a job like this.
