Bad shit happens. How do you think those in power retain their power when it's under assault from others who wish to take it? There is no such thing as a perfect government. UK had the Falklands war pretty recently. I'd hardly call the UK a puppet, rather a staunch ally. Also invaded Iraq and Afghanistan alongside the USA.

Turkey and Thailand have had recent troubles.

Pakistan's difficulties with Baluchistan/Afghanistan... Though that's a pretty long term thing.

Russia invaded Georgia to SAVE hundreds of lives in S.Ossestia, nothing wrong

Pakistan......civilised....maybe they are getting there but not quite.......

Turkey....you mean the PKK rebels that have bombed their nation??? attack in defence is not wrong
