No snow here yet. It's like 38 degrees C outside so I don't think we'll get any this year.
Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.
Woo. Took a weekend trip to Vermont for the first shred of the season. Took us 6 hours to get there but we did, we needed a break right before our final exams.
It was cold as hell, dropping to below zero at the summit with winds gusts of upwards 60 mph (100 km/hr for euros), snowing like crazy and the wind knocked me flat on my ass once. Blast of wind full in the face, dropped me to the ground and slid me down half a black diamond. Pulled a 360, a few grabs and a bunch of grinds in the terrain park, not so bad first time back.
Hood froze to my head as well the bandanna to my face.
Fucking. Awesome.

We went to Stratton because my friends and I have season passes to Mountain Creek in Vernon, NJ so the lift tickets for both days were only $20. It was a pretty cheap trip with all things considered. And a pretty fucking awesome one too.Poseidon wrote:

Jersey's "mountains" are tiny hills compared to those.
Snow day! Sweet
It's warm and rainy here.
20cm yesterday + freezing rain after = nice mix.
No traffic in the summer I,m 12 mins from work. Took me 1:45hr last night to go home, didn't get over 10 kph the whole run.
Happy to have my winter tires.
