At college the headphones are shitty Numarks, and it's really not cool trying to make music with those. The sound is muddy, and all pushed together and is just really quite good. I have £150 to spend, and so far I have seen 2 good pairs I like.
My tutor uses the Sennheiser HD-25-14 ii headphones. I actually used these and they are really sweet.
2 guys in my class both use a pair Sony MDR-v700, which I haven't used but I have been told they are really good.
The Sony headphones appear to be around £50 cheaper, but to be honest, I want the best headphones I can get for the money I have. Has anyone had experiences with the pairs above, or have some recommendations within my price range? I'm using them for making music and mixing (when I can't use speakers), just so you guys know what I need them for
Thanks.
