still, the PCs under the stairs are sorta schmexy in a very nerdy way

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

They are pretty sweet.
This is awsm, beautiful pictures!
The lower one doesn't look anything like that IRL. Those images are just sooo over-contrasted. Second one is pretty nice, though.Uzique wrote:

But, *shrug*, that's such a waste of money. Function>Form. That's why I dislike Apple.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
Difference between this and Apple is that these do have function. A PC modder isnt going to do it with some POS system.Freezer7Pro wrote:

Apple sent me an email just before advertising "Brilliant gift ideas! ..... Give iPod!"

A million dollar pc that will be outta date in 3mo, I find it hard to even spend $2000 on a computer. I can see why max spends so much, because he is actually doing something important with his, me on the other hand, the pc is a glorified video game machine.
Wait, so are you talking about Apple or a PC mod? If Apple, quite likely. If you think that a PC mod has to cost $5000, you are sadly mistaken. I modded my first gaming system for about $50 total for some CCFLs, wire wrap and zipties. I had a dremel and made some blow holes, cut off the ugly X on the window. With that, screwdrivers and time I made a case I was more then willing to show off at a LAN. It had hardly any difference from what you see on that website, sans water cooling and the Lian Li factor.Freezer7Pro wrote:

Even at the last LAN I went to, I saw an ungodly number of Antec 900's and other silly cases with no wire management, a couple cathodes thrown in there and a dinky, scratched window. They probably spent more trying to set that up then anything I ever did.
The idea of modding is to change something, not necessary create it anew though theme-from-scratch cases are the end all and be all of 'modding.' Just because something has form doesn't mean it can't have function, vice versa is true. Why you brought it up Max, god knows.

the fuck are you all smoking? who is fucking staring at the set up when they could be staring at the monitor??? I could give a shit. to me, its like a hotty wearing a wet tee shirt, lets see some fucking titties and judge it after the blow jobs
I, if anyone, should know that. But these have probably had a lot more of money and time spent on them than $50. It's fun to mod and such, but I don't find going to that level very necessary. Your PC is supposed to be used, not looked at. It's a tool. You don't find people modding their wrenchesDefiance wrote:

I know that guy has it as a hobby and such, and that's cool, but I find hobbies that actually fill a purpose (Like tweaking drivers or increasing case airflow) more appealing.

is that a fucking factory?
these are pretty? the 3rd one is a fridge!!!!
trying to be minimalists but they failed badly.
and they should def stop overcontrasting too much.
I will give them points for effort but they should stick to their crazy looking cases instead of trying to be minimalistic, just doesn't work.
