!!!!!! Why the hell can't I use my L85A1 on single player.  I have dial up at home so I can't really play the game online, but I play at a gaming place somewhere else.  I have my Lance Corporal rank and want to play with my gun on single player.  Why can't we if we upgraded it?  Thats kind of messed up, I would hope to see that fixed in the 3rd patch for this game.  Also, do the game creators plan on putting in more customization's for weapons like different scopes or different guns or something?  New upgrades would be cool too, along with being able to change your Nickname on the game for people who joined clans.  Just a thought however...

i know that the Ea games people blocked the hack with the last patch.

You have to realize that Battlefield has always been strong on multiplayer. While most games focus on single player for gameplay, Battlefield focuses on multiplayer, with single player as an additional feature.

Yea, I get that but still, do you think someone is going to play multi player to unlock a weapon and then single player forever once they have it?  Thats a bit ridiculous.  I love playing the game but due to money restraints, I can't.  So I don't see a problem using something that I earned on my own.  Just an oppinion.

I kinda agree on this one. I see no reason for hiding the unlocks in single player. It's not only dumb to make you work for them there, but also silly -- why?

All I can suggest is that you reinstall BF2 back to 1.0 and then you can use the hack to check out the unlocks.

I guess, but, I will wait to see if they change it, which Im hoping they do.  This isn't the kind of game I use hacks in.  Nice idea though.

I'm hoping they are going to fix that. Occasionally I just like to kill some time playing single player. I was excited that I finally got a couple unlocks and low and behold, not usable.

and what better way to practice techniques than in a "it doesn't count" setting such as single player, where it doesn't matter if you die 20 times trying to perfect your sniping tactics...

Try an unranked server, they are great and filled with plenty of unknowing noobs for you to practice on.
