Hey guys, looking for some help. My budget is $600 USD. I don't need HD, mouse, keyboard.
Right now I'm looking at:
CD/DVD Drive: ASUS 20XDVD drive
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0 GHz
Motherboard: ASUS p5E-VM
Video Card: XFX GeForce 9800
Case: Antec NSK6580b 430 Watt Power Supply
RAM:OCZ Reaper HPC 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333
I'm open to you throwing this all out the window or just editing the parts you think don't belong. Thanks guys

Don't get a 9800GTX. Just get a 8800GTS G92, it's pretty much the same card (slight differences). Or get an HD4850.

430W PSU is kind of pushing it. I'd get a Corsair 520 at least.

DDR3 RAM isn't compatible with that motherboard.

I'd look at a Intel P45 motherboard, personally. Like a Gigabyte EP45, Biostar I45, or Asus P5Q/P5Q Deluxe.

Plz help scorpion, be an insomniac! Also, any suggestions for good DDR2 RAM? And crazed, that stuff is nice, but that puts my budget way over.

You'll have to find a cheap case, and a PSU, but otherwise that's a pretty decent build.

If you can't afford that then you'll have to skimp on some stuff I guess, otherwise just save up a little more.

But what if he wants to get 250fps in cod 4?

Otherwise, DDR3 isn't worth atm, go with a solid DDR2 Motherboard, a P5Q would be suggested. 8400 is , this is similar to what I'm getting, but I'm going with a P5Q Pro and a P182, because I have a 9800GT ATM and don't need to upgrade.
