Alright gonna travel soon and bringing my electronics along. So if i plug my psp into a socket with the adapter will it fry? Can someone explain what does it do? Reading online doesnt really help thanks.

Check your adapter, it will say what voltages it can take. Then what voltage the grid of the country you're visiting has. If the adapter can take that voltage you'll be fine.

Going from 220 V to a 110V country is not a problem for "normal" stuff (hairdryers and such). Don“t know about eletronice though.
The other way around will fry your stuff.
You will need a transformator in that case to lower the current (?).

My PSP adaptor (PSP-104) has an input rating of 100V-240V AC, 50/60Hz, so it should work just about anywhere with just a plug adaptor. Where are you going?
